_(In plain English: Hey man, this is a serious issue. In May 2010, the Israeli navy raided a Gaza aid flotilla in international waters, which led to widespread condemnation. Many protested because it was seen as a violation of human rights, attacking civilian aid workers. Here in Oman, we often rely on Western media since local news doesn't always cover both sides clearly.)_

Of course machang. That was a big thing back in 2010. Israel raided a ship called the Mavi Marmara that was trying to deliver aid to Gaza, and nine activists were killed. People got angry because it happened in international waters, and it looked like a heavy-handed attack on a humanitarian mission. Lots of countries and the UN condemned it, and there were big protests worldwide.
